Dipped Leg Furniture

I painted my entryway table a few months ago and added some dipped legs. Because I love the look, that's why.

Unfortunately, I'm moving furniture all over the place around here (spring fever!), and the table is moving out of the entry to somewhere different. I'm not loving the colors of the table for the new space, so I'm checking out other painted furniture color combos for inspiration. Here are some that have struck my fancy:

(And if you ever tell anyone I used the phrase "struck my fancy" before the age of 72, we're not friends.)

Great way to mix it up with some "office furniture" here - love the dipped legs on traditional provincial table legs, mixed with Eames furniture and modern industiral lighting.
source unknown...anyone?
Black desk with a natural wood dip is classy...as are those great brass pulls.

Simple stool - dark bluey-black and silver dips, I think. I like the touch of edginess that the silver give, especially in this pale and kind of sweet space.

Natural with neon? Yes, please!

Not the greatest photo, but bright dipped legs on this side table are a great way to add a subtle pop of red. Which is probably an oxy-moron, but what can I say.

And I thought this modern-rustic dining room furniture contrast was awesome - plus, it kind of changes the mindset from "dipped legs" to "dipped seat," which is out-of-the-box and, here, perfection.

Anyway. The sun is occasionally showing itself around here, which makes me realize...my own legs look like they've been dipped in white paint. Somehow the look's not quite as cute on a human... :)
